During my recent stay at the Shuyuan Youth Hostel, I was delighted by the fantastic location, right by the impressive south gate of Xi'an. The charm of the old building and the comfortable rooms made my stay enjoyable. The hostel's restaurant also exceeded my expectations, offering a great menu that even pleased my picky 9-year-old. The welcoming and helpful staff added to the positive experience. I highly recommend staying at this hospitable hostel.

As a solo traveler, I wanted a convenient and lively location, and this hostel delivered. The hostel is located on top of a cool bar, which also offered a little discount for guests. The transport links nearby were excellent, with subway and bus stations just a short walk away. Although the reception staff had limited English, they were able to provide basic information and helpful tips about local attractions. The hostel had a lot to offer with its bar, coffee shop, and cafe, and the restaurant served tasty Western food. I also enjoyed the nightly activities, like ping pong tournaments and dumpling classes, and the adorable dog named Moon!

They provided information on navigating the city and reaching main places and stations.

shuyuan youth hostel in xi'an exceeded my expectations once again. the location is great, the coffee is legit, and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. the vintage charm and peaceful courtyards make it a joy to stay here. highly recommended.

Noisy hallway disrupted my sleep.
